Obviously to conduct online-, blended- and distance- learning and teaching activities, it is necessary to provide and maintain a digital and communications environment. This
environment should be available to the following target groups:
– Educational organizations of any kind and their students, pupils and life- long- learners
– Teachers, lecturers and trainers
– Parents, who need to support their children’s learning process
– Employers
-Some social groups which have limited access to digital technologies and capacities (including disadvantaged people)
The digital platform shall integrate tools and services to address different scenarios and the specific needs of the above target groups such as:
– Tools to create digital learning content (including MOOC) in various forms (video, text, presentations, audio, quizzes and the like)
– ‘Text-to-voice’, ‘Print-to-Braille’ enabling the transfer of the created content from one format to another
– Creating subtitles for lectures in a form of video files to enable presenting the content by voice and text as well as for easy translation to other EU languages
– Synchronous and asynchronous teaching and learning
– Video classroom
– Performing knowledge testing and certification
– Simultaneous face-to-face and online teaching, etc.
The innovation related to this Intellectual Output consists of:
1. The integration of various digital and communication technologies, services and tools in a way that enables the whole lifecycle of online, blended distance teaching and learning. It
includes the creation of digital content easy to use by the target groups in a digital environment under different scenarios: usual mode of teaching/ learning; in situation of disruptions
caused by Covid-19 and similar circumstances.
2. Enabling the implementation of especially created (under IO2) Methodology and processes for online blended- and distance- learning along the learning lifecycle, both under normal and Covid-19 and the like- situation based on digital technology, business continuity best practice and standards.
The expected impact of this Intellectual Output is that it provides all the necessary digital environment and tools to all of the target groups listed above to participate in teaching/
learning activities in all possible scenarios of disruption in their normal business due to Covid-19 or similar circumstances. Further this product empowers the stakeholders to digitalize their existing learning content, create new one and adapt it to the new reality. The Output allows to implement the concept of the ‘digital enterprise’ in the context of education placing
the digital technology at the center of all teaching and learning business processes. It impacts the way educational organizations operate, develop learning products and services,
generate revenue and engage with learners.
This Intellectual Output has transferability potential as follows:
1. All project partners shell exploit it in their teaching efforts
2. As far as all Intellectual Outputs of this project will be made available on the project website and shared at eTwinning, School Education Gateway, EPALE or the Erasmus+ Project
Results Platform, where applicable, subscribers at those sources will have the opportunity to use and adapt the output for their purposes.
3. This Output allows transferring of the digital learning content from one to other languages and forms.
4. Further transferability of this Intellectual Output is granted by the fact it is based on open- source components.

This Intellectual output development is led by SBC and comprises the next main tasks:
O1-A1 Identification of digital technologies, web-services and tools that provide a complete environment for online blended and distance learning and teaching along its lifecycle.

Under this Intellectual Output, the Project Consortium will develop and summarize Organizational and methodological measures answering the needs of all affected stakeholders in the
teaching and learning business. The common need to have clear methodology and processes to follow when adopting the innovation in question will be satisfied with an intuitive and
easy-to-implement methodological framework for implementation.
The target groups (Educational organizations and Learners of any kind, Teachers, lecturers, trainers, Parents, who need to support their children’s learning process, Employers, Social
groups which have limited access to digital technologies and capacities) will receive in hand:
a. Methodology for online blended and distance learning and teaching, both under normal conditions and in the situation like Covid-19
b. Processes designed for:
– Arranging and conducting online training
– Arranging and conducting of online blended and distance learning, incl. when any of the participants is quarantined but operational
– Vocational training in a production environment without detachment from production
– Use of the digital online and distance learning environment for the preparation of learning content, in parallel with the “live” learning process, as well as for independent asynchronous
use, in case of quarantine or similar situation with detachment from the normal learning process;
– Validation of competencies, of education
– Reliable remote testing, examination and evaluation of students in digital environment and recording of evidences that it has been performed in accordance with the requirements
– Individualization of the training program in cases when:
(a) a learner has been trained under quarantine or is ill, and must catch up for lost classes
(b) in the process of validation lack of competencies have been discovered, for which additional training must be conducted
(c) one of the distance learners does not demonstrate good performance and must emphasize a specific subject;
– Business continuity in accordance with international standards and good practices for business continuity management.
In general, the results in this area are methodology and processes.
The Innovation elements include the methodology and processes to run online-, blended- and distance- teaching and training activities in conditions of Covid-19 and similar disruptions. Innovative is the design of processes for response in cases of long-term disruptions. Those processes are compliant with the international standards and best practices of
business continuity adopted by the industry.
The Impact for stakeholders lies within the assurance of methodology and processes especially designed to provide continuous teaching and learning in digital environment. Those
processes and methodology can be integrated with the existing Quality Management systems of the Organizations in question.
The Process approach used guarantees easy adaptation and transfer to other educational organizations. Same applies to the content developed especially to be easy for translation
and transfer.

Output Title: O3 Digital learning content suitable for online, blended and distance teaching and learning.

The need for the product created in O3 lies within the fact that most organizations have their learning content in classical form (printed materials and presentations). In particular the
schools and pupils work with printed materials most of the time. The digital materials they use do not have a standardized common format and do not comply with competence models
in the specific topics. This creates the need to choose suitable formats, standards and structures for presenting of digital learning contents, which may be used in various digital and
communication environments.
The Product consists of a set of formats, standards, instruments to create digital learning content in the VET programs. Innovative are instruments like Text-to-Voice and Text-to-Brail.
This Output contains also 3 digital training courses and a learning game in the above formats, as well as a course created under the open-source model. This is done to make a
showcase of a combination of real learning products usable in the digital environment from O1. Within this Output Trainers and Teachers from Partner organizations will develop skills
to produce digital trainings. The expected impact is to integrate the formats and instruments of O3 within the Partner Organizations and other interested Stakeholders. The learning
products will be disseminated free via the project website and eTwinning, EPALE, etc. All components of O3 have the potential to be used both in the digital environment created in O1
and standalone.

This Intellectual output development is led by DIE BERATER UNTERNEHMENSBERATUNGS GmbH (DIE BERATER) and comprises the next main tasks:
O3-A1 Selection, definition and implementation of appropriate formats, standards and practices for the preparation of digital learning content.

– create content that is convenient to transfer from one language to another, for example by translating subtitles, and providing access to this content to less represented groups and

O4 is a guide for the Trainers about the activities they shall conduct along the lifecycle of training in digital environment. The guide reflects the applicable European Frameworks on
common competences in the field of digital technologies for teachers, citizens and organizations and specific competences in the subject area project partners are accredited. It also
reflects the specifics of the Project Outputs O1, O2, O3.
The need comes from the fact most educational organizations do not have systematic guidelines in this area.
Innovation lies within providing a full set of guidelines for the provision of digital training in situation of Covid-19 and alike. The Manual can be used not only for the environment of the
products created within the project but also as a standalone document.
The impact is on each step of the lifecycle through granting means to develop and deliver digital education.
The transferability is granted because the manual can be used for digital training in normal conditions.
