Output Title: O2 Methodology and processes for online blended- and distance- learning and teaching along the learning lifecycle, both under normal- and Covid-19 and the like- situation based on digital technology, business continuity best practice and
standards.
Output Type: Methodologies / guidelines – Methodological framework for implementation
Start Date: 2021-10-01
End Date: 2022-03-01

Under this Intellectual Output, the Project Consortium will develop and summarize Organizational and methodological measures answering the needs of all affected stakeholders in the
teaching and learning business. The common need to have clear methodology and processes to follow when adopting the innovation in question will be satisfied with an intuitive and
easy-to-implement methodological framework for implementation.
The target groups (Educational organizations and Learners of any kind, Teachers, lecturers, trainers, Parents, who need to support their children’s learning process, Employers, Social
groups which have limited access to digital technologies and capacities) will receive in hand:
a. Methodology for online blended and distance learning and teaching, both under normal conditions and in the situation like Covid-19
b. Processes designed for:
– Arranging and conducting online training
– Arranging and conducting of online blended and distance learning, incl. when any of the participants is quarantined but operational
– Vocational training in a production environment without detachment from production
– Use of the digital online and distance learning environment for the preparation of learning content, in parallel with the “live” learning process, as well as for independent asynchronous
use, in case of quarantine or similar situation with detachment from the normal learning process;
– Validation of competencies, of education
– Reliable remote testing, examination and evaluation of students in digital environment and recording of evidences that it has been performed in accordance with the requirements
– Individualization of the training program in cases when:
(a) a learner has been trained under quarantine or is ill, and must catch up for lost classes
(b) in the process of validation lack of competencies have been discovered, for which additional training must be conducted
(c) one of the distance learners does not demonstrate good performance and must emphasize a specific subject;
– Business continuity in accordance with international standards and good practices for business continuity management.
In general, the results in this area are methodology and processes.
The Innovation elements include the methodology and processes to run online-, blended- and distance- teaching and training activities in conditions of Covid-19 and similar disruptions. Innovative is the design of processes for response in cases of long-term disruptions. Those processes are compliant with the international standards and best practices of
business continuity adopted by the industry.
The Impact for stakeholders lies within the assurance of methodology and processes especially designed to provide continuous teaching and learning in digital environment. Those
processes and methodology can be integrated with the existing Quality Management systems of the Organizations in question.
The Process approach used guarantees easy adaptation and transfer to other educational organizations. Same applies to the content developed especially to be easy for translation
and transfer.

This Intellectual output development is led by CARDET and comprises the next main tasks:
O2-A1 Definition of the online-, blended- and distance- learning and teaching lifecycle. ([A] CARDET, [C] partrners)
O2-A2 For each stage of the lifecycle – definition of the typical activities and challenges related to the online-, blended- and distance- forms of learning and teaching. ([A] CARDET, [C]
partners)
O2-A3 Considering O2-A1 and O2-A2, design of a core process for online-, blended- and distance- learning and teaching under normal situation ([A] CARDET, [R] SBC, [C] partners)
O2-A4 Business Impact Analysis (BIA) on the core process (as per O2-A3) to:
– Assess the impact during the disruptions of key activities of this process, caused by Covid-19 or similar circumstances
– Define priority deadlines to recover these activities to minimal acceptable levels, considering the time after which their recovery is unacceptable
– Identify the dependencies and necessary resources for these activities
([A] CARDET, [R] SBC, [C] partners)
O2-A5 Risk assessment to:
– Identify the risks and the related scenarios of disruption caused by Covid-19 or similar circumstances
– Assess which disruptions require treatment
– Define treatment according to the online-, blended- and distance- learning and teaching aims.
([A] CARDET, [C] partners)
O2-A6 Definition of education continuity strategy based on the digital platform (O1) and digital learning content (O3). ([A] CARDET, [C] partners)
O2-A7 Development of teaching/learning continuity procedures supported by the digital platform (O1) and digital learning content (O3). These procedures shall provide “digital
response” for any scenario of disruption process, caused by Covid-19 or similar circumstances and identified by the Business Impact Assessment. ([A] CARDET, [C] partners)
O2-A8 Development of specific procedures for testing, examination, assessment, validation of competences when the learning is via online-, blended- and distance learning
environment. ([A] CARDET, [C] partners)

O2-A9 Documenting the Methodology subject of O2, which comprises guidelines for specific measures and teachers behaviour when teaching via the digital environment (O1, O3),
and the processes and procedures created by the previous tasks. ([A] CARDET, [C] partners)
O2-A10 Train project partners on the O2 intellectual outputs ([A] CARDET, [R] partners)
O2-A11 Prepare end-stage report and do end-stage activities as required by the Erasmus program and the contract ([A] CARDET, [C] partners)
O2-A12 Publish the stage results at the project web-site after approval. ([A] CARDET, [R] SBC, [I] partners)
